First impressions are very important when moving into a new apartment. I was immediately taken with the building façade and entrance that was recessed off of 512 Van Ness Avenue. The brick sidewalk and marble steps were immaculate. I was greeted by Chris, the front door staff person, and I must say that all the front door staff people I experienced during my stay were cordial and professional, always helpful with directions, messages, keys, etc.

The unit upon first entering reminded me of a New York City hotel room but much more spacious for a studio. Beautiful hardwood floors, a well equipped new kitchen and the refurbished bathroom put my mind at ease and made my stay extremely comfortable. Housekeeping came every Wednesday and made sure the place was spotless and perfect from the kitchen to even putting that perfect fold at the top of the duvet on the bed. Small details like this don’t go unnoticed and it shows that the staff really cares about its guests.

I highly recommend the Corinthian Suites at 512 Van Ness Avenue, San Francisco, to any working professional for its cleanliness, quietness and friendly staff.

I am writing to you as General Manager of Nob Hill Place, and also to David Chesnosky of CitiSuites to commend the very professional facilities that I was fortunate to use during my stay on business for Reed Smith in San Francisco from January through April 2008. Your management is superb for a business traveler like me who needs good proximity to the financial district, a quiet living and productive working environment, and full facilities for cooking. Internet connection was excellent. Kitchen facilities enabled me to cook for family members who stayed over for weekends, as well as myself during the week. While SF restaurants are excellent, it is more cost effective for me to have use of a full kitchen. Nob Hill Place was perfect.

Your service, whether for an extra set of keys, rollaway bed, minor repairs to windows was always prompt and practical. You keep the facility in a spotless condition, which contributes to its historic charm.

Most important, the unit gave me not only living facilities but working facilities for those 6:00 am PST conference calls starting at 9:00 am EST, in addition to late night and week end projects.

I wanted to reiterate my thanks to David Chesnosky and you for getting me rapidly into Nob Hill Place when the original facility was not available and appropriate. That rapid response to find a solution was professionalism at its best.

I highly recommend Reed Smith continue to place its longer term lawyers under your and CitiSuites excellent care, as it will contribute to our productivity and professionalism.

On top of keeping a great facility, you were a charming and gracious hostess to a newcomer in San Francisco. Thanks for the many excellent suggestions on sites and sounds in the neighborhood.

I certainly hope to return to SF and stay at Nob Hill Place.

We had a great time pretending that the Nob Hill Place apartment was our own stylishly-appointed luxury apartment in San Francisco! It was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated, with modern feel that was homey, not stark. The view of the city, including the Golden Gate Bridge, was breathtaking, and I found I spent a lot of time looking out the window at the hills and buildings of San Francisco. The apartment was so centrally located, getting around the city was a breeze, even to someone like myself who was not familiar with it. At Grace Cathedral right next door, we were even lucky enough to see Mayor Gavin Newsom's bridal party! We were delighted with the extra special touches that CitiSuites provided: dish-washing liquid and sponge, a fully-kitted kitchen, but mostly by the travel pack of Gilchrist & Soames goodies! All are the perfect size to take on an aeroplane, so it is a gift that I will continue to use, reminding me of the fantastic stay I had at Nob Hill Place. We found it very hard to leave, but the experience left us eager to return.

Thank-you so much, Sandy. I am feeling real withdrawal pains from San Francisco. I just loved it so much. I just absolutely love the city. Nob Hill Place far exceeded my expectations. You run an excellent building that is definitely first class. If you know of a Web Site that I can write a review evaluating my stay, please direct me to it. My wife and I absolutely loved our stay there. Please say hi to Evelyn and her crew. They work really hard to keep the place looking as good as it does. my wife purposely left a pair of sneakers there that were too large for her-she only wore them about 5 times so if one of the ladies wished to have them, hopefully they will.

Thank-you again-and I definitely left my heart in SF.

"This place is fantastic! I highly recommend NHP [Nob Hill Place] for anyone needing a short-term SF rental. Don't waste time on anything else. Dollar-for-dollar, NHP is very cost effective. Perfect place for someone who doesn't want the hassle of utilities, telephone, cable, deposits, etc.

Extremely safe environment. Exceptionally accommodating management team, especially Dave Chernosky (he rearranged his schedule to meet me at 8pm on a Friday night).

NHP is the best value in San Francisco! I will definitely come back.

I have been a resident at Nob Hill Place for 26 years and I would like to report on the general conditions and operations at the building.

The first thing that I would like to point out is that the atmosphere which is presented here is good. It is clean, safe and friendly. It seems that the workers are always busy taking care of the many situations that they are presented with.

Secondly, I would like to voice my appreciation for the manager, David Chesnosky. David has consistently attended to whatever my particular needs have been, whether is was a malfunctioning stove, a bad refrigerator or or if I just needed some simple assistance. I am a disabled person in a wheelchair and I do at times need some special assistance especially when the building's elevator has broken down. David has always been right there to help.

In summary, the management of this building is top notch and I have no complaints.
